Fwd: IRISH LUCK

I hope it works for you...

let's hope that each of us has Good Luck this Year, courtesy of the Irish.

Irish   Luck - Remember to  send it  back!
I want  this back. It  DOES  work.

His  name was Fleming, and  he  was a poor  Scottish farmer.  One day, while  trying to  make a living for  his family, he  heard  a cry for help coming from a nearby boy.
He dropped his tools
and ran to the boy.

There, mired to his waist in  black  muck, was a  terrified boy, screaming and  struggling  to  free himself.  Farmer Fleming  saved  the lad from what could have been  a  slow and  terrifying death.

The next  day, a  fancy  carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings.  An   elegantly  dressed nobleman stepped out and  introduced  himself as  the father of  the boy Farmer Fleming  had saved.

'I want to repay you,' said  the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'

'No,  I can't accept  payment  for what I  did,' the Scottish farmer  replied waving  off the offer.  At that moment,  the  farmer's own son came to the door of the family  hovel.

'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.

'Yes,' the  farmer replied proudly.

'I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy If the lad is anything like his  father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.'  And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son  attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London,  and went on to become known  throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming,  the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years  afterward,  the same nobleman's son  who was saved from the bog was stricken  with  pneumonia.

What  saved  his life this  time?   Penicillin.

The name of the  nobleman?   Lord Randolph Churchill ..  His son's name?

Sir Winston Churchill.

Someone once said:  What  goes  around comes  around.

Fwd: Pray

LEAVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND LET US PRAY !!!

Almighty Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything in between, we humbly come before You with thanksgiving in our hearts, asking for Your never ending mercy. We lift Your name on high, above any name that has ever existed.
Our Father and Creator, we ask You to bless, protect and to pour Your supernatural favor upon us, our children, our spouses and friends. God, we ask You today for divine intervention in our lives.

We ask for Your touch in all areas of our lives be it a new job, promotion, freedom from debt, better health, rebuilding of our relationships with our spouses, friends and family, or whatever our individual needs are.

Father, any situation You touch, we believe it can never remain the same. Father in Heaven, let Your will be done in our lives as Your decision in our lives is the best and Your will is always perfect.

Please send double portion anointing and blessings in the quickest time to the person who will forward this as Your name is being worshiped and glorified by multitudes.
All this we ask in the name of Your only Son, our personal Saviour, Jesus Christ. AMEN!!!

God is going to shift things around and let things work in your favor. God closes doors no man can open, and He opens doors no man can close. If you need God to open some doors for you....send this to as many as you love to be blessed.

Fwd: Remarks on CBS Sunday Morning

 A little sanity please...

Only  hope we find GOD again before it is too late ! !

The  following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS  Sunday  Morning  Commentary.

My confession:

I don't like getting pushed around for being a  Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for  being Christians.  I think people who believe in God are  sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.  I have no  idea where the concept came from, that America is an explicitly  atheist country.  I can't find it in the Constitution and I  don't like it being shoved down my throat...

Or maybe I  can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we  should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God  as we understand Him?  I guess that's a sign that I'm  getting old, too.  But there are a lot of us who are  wondering where these celebrities came from and where the   America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we  send to one another for a laugh, this is a little  different:  This is not intended to be a joke; it's not  funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

In  light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings,  etc..  I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she  was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she  didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.  Then  someone said you better not read the Bible in school...   The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and  love your neighbor as yourself.  And we said  OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our  children when they misbehave, because their little personalities  would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr.  Spock's son committed suicide).  We said an expert should  know what he's talking about..  And we said  okay..

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have  no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it  doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and  themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard  enough, we can figure it out.  I think it has a great deal  to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is  for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to  hell.  Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but  question what the Bible says.  Funny how you can send  'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when  you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think  twice about sharing.  Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and  obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public  discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward  this message, you will not send it to many on your address list  because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will  think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more  worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks  of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit.

If not, then just discard it... no one will know you  did.  But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit  back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

My Best Regards,  Honestly and  respectfully,

Ben  Stein
